Property Measurement and Testing of Powders for Pharmaceutical and Neutraceutical Production August 13, 2009
The morning will consist of presentations illustrating the causes of many common process operation problems and how to predict and overcome these issues.
The afternoon will concentrate on the operational characteristics of a modern 3-layer tablet press and how changes in homogeneity in blend feedstock can impact on tablet quality. Presentations will also be given on analytical approaches for providing formulation and product quality assurance in modern process plants.
A key aspect of the days activities is to encourage interaction and discussion with the presenters and other technical staff. To facilitate this, a display of posters relating to the presentations and other technical aspects of particle sciences will be exhibited, along with some key pieces of equipment mentioned in the days papers.
If you are associated with or work within tablet production, powder processing, the pharmaceutical or neutraceutical industries, foods, confectionary etc, the day represents an opportunity to familiarise with some of the latest scientific techniques for improving formulation and processing performance.
Registration is £30 per delegate. Registration forms and further information can be found at http://www.pharmaconference.co.uk
