Informa Exhibitions Ltd regrets to announce the closure of Solids & Bulk Handling magazine.

Solids & Bulk Handling magazine has been affected by the ongoing downward trend of on-the-page marketing spend. This combined with the economic pressures that the loose and solids handling industry face has ultimately led to the sad and difficult decision to cease publishing the magazine.

The November/December 2017 issue of Solids & Bulk Handling will be its last edition.

David Hills Joins Bunting as new Head of Sales

David Hills has joined Bunting as the Head of Sales and will be based at the Bunting manufacturing, design and test facility in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, from where the company supplies a wide range of Magnets, Magnetic Components, Magnetic Assemblies and Magnetic Separators.  As Head of Sales, David will be tasked with improving the sales process to efficiently manage the continued increase in business, whilst also identifying and targeting other key industrial and geographical markets for growth.

David has extensive sales experience with a career that includes working for Pitney Bowes, Sharp Electronics and Avistar.  He joins from Dramaforum, where he held the position of UK Business Development and was on the board of Directors.  As part of his personal development, David studied at the Open University where he was awarded as Professional Diploma in Business Administration.

David is excited by the new challenge at Bunting.  “I am thrilled to have the opportunity to join a global company with a strong identity.  The vision of Simon [Bunting’s Managing Director] was exciting and I wanted to play a part in his plans for growth.”

Simon Ayling, Bunting’s Managing Director is equally excited by the appointment of a new Head of Sales.  “As we grow we need to evolve and the appointment of a new Head of Sales is part of that process.  We have very bold aspirations and with the right planning and the best people we can achieve those goals.  David brings experience of business development in different industrial markets and this allows us to implement new and fresh marketing and sales initiatives.”
