A VALUABLE CONFERENCE IN SO MANY WAYS August 22, 2017
BULKEX17 has a great deal to offer delegates, whether they are from within the bulk handling materials industry or an allied sector such as mining, quarrying, cement, transport or energy.
The two day event, organised by the Materials Handling Engineers Association (MHEA) combines a technical conference with a supporting exhibition, plus an industry awards dinner, all at Eastwood Hall, Nottingham on 18 and 19 October.
The seminar programme is the highlight of the event, featuring high quality speakers giving presentations on a range of topical subjects aimed at professionals across a number of industries. With the conference theme of Bulk Handling Today and Tomorrow, subjects covered include:
- Key business issues such as BREXIT and capitalising on your digital assets
- Emerging opportunities in Latin America and UK infrastructure ventures
- Plus insight into current projects including the biomass conversion at Lynemouth power station.
Included in the 1-day or 2-day ticket prices (£60 and £100 respectively), are a seated lunch in the hotel’s restaurant with an opportunity to meet the speakers and discuss in more detail your questions on their papers. Additionally, delegates can help themselves to refreshments at any point during the event, at the break-out area adjacent to the seminar room.
A supporting exhibition of around 50 stands from a wide variety of companies is an added feature, offering visitors the chance to discover more about highly relevant products and services. Members of the media will also be present to report on the conference, providing the possibility of building rapport and discussing editorial or advertising opportunities.
Throughout the conference, there will many moments for delegates to catch up with suppliers, clients and end users, make new contacts and renew old acquaintances, expanding both their network and their knowledge in the delightful setting of a Georgian country house hotel.
With everything on offer at BULKEX17, the value in attending is clear. Where else can one or two days out of the office provide so much opportunity under one roof?
